A Simple Love Song

So in the past few months, I've been busy. I worked on a few songs with Jazz impresario Tim Watson for his upcoming project. I have been working with my company the Jaryll Avid Corporation, and we have been making some progress.


My album, "Inspired By A True Story" still doesn't have a release date because I keep coming up with new songs. I have been performing at an open mic down in Destin, FL at the Funky Blues Shack every Monday night. That has been fun.



My new website is up, I have a couple radio play-list additions.



That's all I can remember right now...

Okayplayer shows love

Buddy Holly phones Decca Records to request that the label return masters of some songs the label chose not to release so he can shop for a new label. There is some poignancy in how earnest and reasonable Buddy sounds, contrasted with the incredulity of his label correspondent. The phone call took place in 1957, but presumably this same phone call could have taken place between artist and label yesterday. Except today, the label would ask for a 360 deal.

So I will be putting out song titles of the tracks that are being written, and I would like to hear your thoughts on what you think they mean. This could be fun. Some of them will be obvious, but others will be wide open...let's get started

So many things.....

So many things to do this week...

Go to work...travel to AL...choir rehearsal...send jingles to UK...finish class work...record two more new tracks...finish writing project schedule for company...conference call...meet with partner...wash my son's butt at least 4 out of 5 days...find some time to wash mines...put up with work for one more week...try to make my wife happy...get ready for new job...

I'm sure there's more,that's all I could think of right now.
